29 weeks

**No “formal” preggo pics this week, as we were up in Wisconsin for our baby shower this weekend and don’t intend to do much grocery shopping, since we’re moving Saturday.**

A sneak peek from the shower…

How Big are the Babies?

My sources say the babies are as big as butternut squash or acorn squash this week, measuring about 15 inches, head to heel, and weighing 2 1/2 pounds.

How I’m Changing

The big things this week were continued Braxton Hicks contractions and continued tingling and numbness in my wrists, hands and fingers because of pregnancy-related carpal tunnel syndrome.

The other thing, later this week, that kicked my butt was the sticky, humid weather. I wanted to work out, pack and clean, but I was just too hot and uncomfortable and short of breath. I wanted to relax, too, but I was too uncomfortable stuck to the sofa. Ew.

How I’m Feeling/What I’m Thinking

The next week is going to be very busy, working during the day and dropping off and unpacking boxes in the evening (and vice versa for Christopher). But it’s going to pay dividends when all we – hopefully – have to move Saturday is furniture, appliances and a few boxes and clean the last of the old house Sunday.

I can’t wait. I almost can’t sit still or even sleep.

  • Weight gained (to date): 29 lbs.

  • Workouts: Just two – 1-mile walk and 30 min. prenatal workout – plus unknown amounts of cleaning, packing, bending, lifting and sweating.

  • Food aversions: Still none.

  • Food cravings: Good question!

  • Maternity items purchased: None.

  • Baby items purchased received: Crib liners/mattress pads and crib sheets from my aunt and uncle, who won’t make it to the shower Saturday.

  • Money made at our rummage sale: $100+.

  • Money made by selling items on Craigslist: $95.

  • Bags dropped off at Goodwill: About a half-dozen. With more waiting in the garage.

  • Brewers wins in a row: Four, followed by a loss, then a win!

  • Next prenatal appointment: Monday, July 1, 31 1/2 weeks.
